Presentation Services
When pitching for commissions, exhibitions & opportunities, you need to ensure your presentation is compelling & clear. For prospective or existing clients & partners, communicating your ideas at key moments is essential to moving your practice forward. We can help you make a presentation that:
Explains how the work will be made, describing complex fabrication processes in accessible language, or in granular detail if technical descriptions are needed. Techniques using new, cutting edge technology will be clearly explained for your audience.
Describes and gives examples of the finish & patina of the work, helping you to clearly visualise & explain how your ideas will look, demystifying finishes such as mirror polish, naked bronze and wire wheel.
Refreshes how you write & speak about your ideas, helping you to avoid jargon and create a stronger voice throughout. Fresh eyes & ears can help you avoid small mistakes in big discussions.
Practically, we work with you through remote meetings, agreeing a timeline & scope of work at the beginning of the project.
If you need support with something different related to writing & presenting, we’re happy to discuss that - get in touch with us here.
Audio & Film Services
We can create a short film that quickly communicates your idea, either for use in a presentation or more widely. Speaking about your work conversationally, you’ll explain the thinking & making behind your wider practice and the work you’re creating with us. We record an audio interview with you remotely using software that runs in your browser, editing this down to create the audio that narrates the short film. We can combine images you provide with footage of the work being made in the foundry or sculpted digitally,
Examples
For Alla Malova, the film explained the complex background & collaborative timeline that led to the sculpture, clearly demonstrating the methods used to make the piece.
For John Henry Newton, the digital nature of the sculpting takes centre stage, capturing the sentiment and reality of making work during the first UK Lockdown of 2020.
